Just Beachy!-- Sarasota Venice Child & Family Beach Photographer
So this adorable family chose to vacation in Sarasota & asked me to capture their time together on one of our fabulous beaches. What a wonderful time and a beautiful family! Here are some of my favorite shots..
Plume 4 You at Venice Beach-- Sarasota Child, Family & Lifestyle Photographer
I was asked by Plume 4 Your Feather Hair Extensions (http://www.plume4you.com/) to photograph their hair pieces while they were in Sarasota for a few weeks, and I happily obliged. The shoot was intended to showcase their super-cool hair extensions, but we had so much fun, I thought I'd share some images of the girls just having fun, too. I hope you like 'em!
Marina Jack's Park-- Sarasota Child Photographer
At long last I finally got a chance to do a photo shoot at Marina Jacks Park. For those of you who don't know, Marina Jack's Park (don't think this is the actual name) is a public park right on the water in the heart of Sarasota that has super fun fountains, a huge jungle gym and a real-deal tikki bar within 20 paces of the kid stuff.
When she was first led to the fountains, this little one was cautious, but after only a few minutes she was running around and screaming with the best of 'em (giving her father a heart attack for fear she'd crack her head open). Naturally, I was at the ready with my camera to photograph the fun, but both me & my trusty Canon got soaked getting these shots! It was so worth it. After all was said and done, she had a blast, and I got a much needed cool down!

Afternoon with Grammy-- Sarasota Child Family Photographer
This weekend we got to spend an afternoon with Lorelai's Grammy whom Lorelai hasn't seen since she began walking almost a month ago. Lorelai had a blast running around the yard with her sack filled with finger puppets (compliments of grammy)--and had even more fun at the beach later on! Oddly enough, the monk's favorite part seemed to be when she got nakies at the outdoor beach showers so we could wash the sand from her lil' tush! She kept shouting, "More! More!" when we told her it was time to leave. The surrounding people had a good laugh.... ice-cold outdoor showers are not the least bit inviting to the rest of us!

A Tale of Two Sisters-- Sarasota Child Photographer
I had the happy opportunity to photograph two of the sweetest little girls this past weekend. The weather cooperated and was sunny, cool and inviting--perfect for a good romp out in the park! My favorite moment had to be when the younger one stopped to ask me if I thought the fairies we had been trying to find and chase at the park, might throw bombs at us. Shocked, I asked, "What on earth would a fairy bomb look like?!" To which she replied, "An explosion of flowers at our feet!" I love this little girl! Here's a peek into some of my favorite photos from our session..
The most beautiful family-- Sarasota Child Photographer
I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph my neighbor and her gorgeous family a few weeks ago, and she was kind enough to let me share some of the photos I took of her beautiful babies with you. I had so much fun getting to know them all--such wonderful and distinct little personalities! There is something about photographing children that makes my heart sing. They are so un-reserved, natural and free-spirited. As a teacher, it's easy to get caught up in all that I want to instill into kids to help them to be successful in the world, but spending time with these little ones had me realizing just how much I can learn from them!
If you would like to see photos from the entire session, please stop by the Gallery page.
